Ken Hollingsworth - Play-by-Play Announcer
A voice that is familiar to all in the areas surrounding Copiah and Lincoln counties, Ken Hollingsworth begins his first season as the Voice of the Wolfpack.
Hollingsworth, a lifelong native of Crystal Springs and graduate of Crystal Springs High School, got his start in broadcasting over 50 years ago at WMDC in Hazlehurst. He has worked the past 23 years at WBKN/WMJU in Brookhaven.
Hollingsworth attended Hinds Community College before graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in radio and television. He has broadcast hundreds of high school football, basketball, and baseball games from all around southwest Mississippi. Hollingsworth additionally serves as the play-by-play voice for Brookhaven Academy athletics. He was a member of the original broadcasting crew for the Jackson Mets minor league baseball team during the mid ‘70s.
Hollingsworth and his wife, Joan, reside in Crystal Springs.
