No. 18 Co-Lin hosts East Central in critical South Division matchup

WESSON – The Copiah-Lincoln Community College Wolves (2-2, 1-1) are coming into this week’s South Division showdown with the East Central Community College Warriors (2-2, 2-0) with momentum from last week’s 27-22 upset of then ranked No. 6 JCJC. East Central is also coming off a big South Division win as they defeated Mississippi Gulf Coast in Decatur 41-28. Kickoff for Thursday night’s matchup is at 7 p.m. The Co-Lin Counseling Center is hosting their annual high school senior tailgate party beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Henley Building. Hotdogs, hamburgers, chips, and drinks will be provided.

Co-Lin comes from behind to upset No. 6 JCJC

WESSON – With 2:22 left in the game, Copiah-Lincoln Community College quarterback Dominic DeLira hit a wide-open Eric Grossley in the end zone to give Co-Lin a 27-22 win over the No. 6 ranked Jones County Bobcats. The win improves the Wolfpack to 2-2 (1-1) while No. 6 Jones County drops to 3-1 (0-1).

Wolves hope to bounce back against No. 6 Jones County

WESSON – The Copiah-Lincoln Community College Wolfpack are looking to bounce back after dropping a physical 21-7 game to Mississippi Gulf Coast last Thursday. This week’s opponent, the undefeated No. 6 ranked Jones County Junior College Bobcats are coming off a 38-6 victory over Coahoma. Thursday’s game is scheduled to kickoff at 7 p.m. and Co-Lin students are encouraged to attend for a chance to win a free one semester transfer tuition scholarship to The University of Southern Mississippi.
