Co-Lin sets cheer tryouts

WESSON – The Copiah-Lincoln Community College cheerleaders have scheduled dates for tryouts for the 2017-2018 academic year. The tryouts are open to anyone attending Copiah-Lincoln in the fall. Optional open gym sessions will take place in Callender Hall on Co-Lin’s Wesson campus on January 31, February 7, February 21, February 28, March 7, March 14, and March 21 from 7-8:30 p.m. These sessions are a great opportunity for interested participates to practice and prepare for auditions. Tryouts will include a mandatory clinic on Thursday, March 30 from 4-6 p.m. followed by official tryouts on Friday, March 31 from 4-6 p.m. Both will take place in Callender Hall. MACJC Soccer All-Star Game scheduled

WESSON – Five Copiah-Lincoln Community College soccer players will participate in the MACJC Soccer All-Star Games scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 12. Ravan London and Ashley Seelal will be suiting up for the South Women All-Stars. The game is set to kickoff at 2 p.m. at Freedom Ridge Park in Ridgeland, Miss.

The men’s game will follow at 4:30 p.m. also at Freedom Ridge Park. Batevya Mediateur, Jorge Feuntes, and Anthony Rodriguies will be representing the Wolves on South Men All-Stars. The Wolves’ head coach Junior Noel will be at the helm of the South Men’s team. Follow @colinathletics on Twitter for updates about the Co-Lin soccer program. 

Co-Lin soccer looks to end streak on sophomore night

WESSON – The Copiah-Lincoln Community College Wolves take on Jones County in their final home match Friday, Oct. 14 in Wesson at 7 p.m. Sophomores will be recognized prior to kickoff. The Wolves enter the contest with JCJC on a losing streak, but look to rebound after a strong showing against nationally ranked Mississippi Gulf Coast on Tuesday.
