Lady Wolves to hold basketball tryouts

WESSON – The Copiah-Lincoln Community College women’s basketball team will hold tryouts for the 2010-2011 season on Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at 2 p.m. in Mullen Gymnasium on the Wesson Campus.

Lady Wolves face Casper (WY) College in first round of national tournament

WESSON - The NJCAA has just release the pairings for the upcoming NJCAA National Women's Basketball Tournament in Salina, KS. The Co-Lin Lady Wolves will face the Casper (WY) College Thunderbirds on Wednesday, March 17, at 12 p.m. Co-Lin (28-1), representing Region 23, are the No. 5 seed while Casper (31-3) is seeded No. 12. CLINTON - The Co-Lin Lady Wolves captured the NJCAA Region 23 Championship with a 78-75 overtime win over the Baton Rouge Lady Bears. The Lady Wolves (28-1) advance to the NJCAA National Tournament in Salina, Kansas, March 16-20. The championship is head coach Gwyn Young's sixth regional title.
