WESSON - Copiah-Lincoln Community College will hold its first-ever Softball Alumni Games on Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Lady Wolves Softball Field on the Wesson Campus. The day begins with lunch at the field at noon followed by slowpitch and fastpitch games. All former Lady Wolves softball players are invited to come back to eat, reminisce and play a little softball.

"We are really excited about this event," said Lady Wolves head coach Allen Kent. "With this being the 10th anniversary of fastpitch at Co-Lin, we felt like it was the perfect time to tray and get all of our former players together."

Co-Lin started slowpitch softball back in the late 1970s, early 1980s and began fastpitch in the spring of 2000.

"There have been some tremendous athletes come through our program and Co-Lin has enjoyed plenty of success," said Kent. "We are looking forward to having everyone back on campus."

Former Lady Wolves coaches Gwyn Young and David Smith will be in attendance along with current assistant coaches Johnny Williams and Duane Burt.
