Wolves Stumble Against Wildcats

POPLARVILLE- The Co-Lin Men's Soccer team wrapped up the road portion of the 2021 season with a match against Pearl River on Friday, October 22. The Wildcats used a strong first half performance to earn a 4-0 win over the Wolves.
The Wildcats scored three goals in the first half in the 10th, 21st, and 41st minutes to take a 3-0 lead into the locker room at halftime.
The final goal for the Wildcats came in the 52nd minute. The Wildcats stalled out the Wolves offense allowing just three shots on goal during the second half to secure the 4-0 win.
Sophomore Ben Parkinson (Bury, England) saved five of nine shots on goal throughout the match.
The Wolves are 5-8-1 overall and 1-7-1 in South Division play and will wrap up the 2021 season with a match against Jones College on Tuesday, October 26. The action on the pitch will kickoff at 7 p.m., at H.L. Stone Stadium.
