Wolves fall to Itawamba

WESSON- The Co-Lin Wolves fell to the Itawamba Indians 6-3 in recent tennis action. The Wolves picked up wins at No. 1 doubles, No. 1 and No. 2 singles.

In doubles play, Co-Lin's No. 1 team of Julian Parada|Julian Toloza defeated ICC's Joao Mendez| Rhonza Olaechea 8-4. ICC picked up wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles as Russell Moorman|Houston Walker defeated Co-Lin's Ty Nelson|Bryce Oster 8-2 and Sam Morgan|Bratton Willoughby edged Co-Lin's Lawson Pearson|Mason Pounds 8-6.

In singles action, Co-Lin's Parada defeated Mendez 6-4, 6-0 at No. 1 while the Wolves only other singles win came at No. 2 as Toloza beat ICC's Olaechea 6-1, 6-4.

ICC took the remaining singles matches. Moorman defeated Co-Lin's Nelson 6-2, 6-4 at No. 3. Walker beat Co-Lin's Pearson 7-5, 6-2 at No. 4. At No. 5, Oster fell to Willoughby 6-4, 6-4 and Morgan defeated Co-Lin's Sam Boutwell 6-3, 6-4.
