Lady Wolves Infield Duo Earn Prestigious Award

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Rawlings Sporting Goods Company, Inc., announced the 27 recipients of the NJCAA Rawlings Gold Glove Awards on Thursday, June 4. The Lady Wolves had two members of the team selected as Annie Poole (Brookhaven) and Emilie Williams (Summit) were selected as Gold Glove winners marking the first time in program history the Lady Wolves have had two winners in the same season.

Annie Poole stared at first base for the Lady Wolves this season. The freshman played in 55 games this season and had just one error with 229 putouts and six assists in 236 chances this season for a .996 fielding percentage.

Emilie Williams was the every game second baseman for the Lady Wolves this season and had a spectacular sophomore campaign in the field. She played in all 57 games this season and had just three errors with 108 putouts and 69 assists in 180 chances which resulted in a .983 fielding percentage.

Poole and Williams become the first recipients of the Gold Glove Award since Madison Moak won the honor in the 2024 season. Co-Lin was one of two schools from the MACCC and one of three from Region 23 to have players earn the Gold Glove Award in the 2026 season and was one of four schools across all three divisions within the NJCAA to have two players named among the 27 honorees.

The Lady Wolves finish the season 50-7 overall while winning their third straight MACCC Championship and won the Region 23 Championship this season then finished fifth in the NJCAA DII National Tournament.
