PERKINSTON – The Co-Lin Women's Soccer team continued the 2021 season with a road contest in South Division Play against Gulf Coast on Tuesday, October 19. The Lady Wolves and Lady Bulldogs needed overtime to decide a winner, and ultimately the Lady Bulldogs took the match, 1-0, in the second overtime period.
The Lady Bulldogs scored the winning goal in the 102nd minute of the match taking the win with the golden goal rules of overtime periods.
Sophomore goalkeeper Alex Moon (Poynton with Worth, England) had her best match in a Lady Wolves jersey making 23 saves on 24 shots faced throughout the match.
Co-Lin is now 3-10-1 overall and 2-6 in South Division play and will return to action with a road match against Pearl River on Friday, October 22. The action on the pitch will kickoff at 5 p.m.
