HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – The Co-Lin Women's Soccer team continued their non-conference portion of the season with a road match against National Park on Wednesday, September 10. The Lady Wolves used an offensive explosion followed by stifling defense to beat the Nighthawks, 6-0.
The Lady Wolves left no doubt as Ella-Mai Bale (Peterborough, England) scored not only her first career goal in a Lady Wolves uniform but also got her first career hat trick as she netted three goals throughout the match. Madeline Logan (Brandon) netted her second goal of the season while Sara Pinzon (Starkville) and Marlie Jones (Madison) netted their first goals of the season to account for all the scoring.
Jess Abrantes (Peterborough, England) had a pair of assists while Rylee Raymond (Florence), and Pinzon had one assist each. Katherine Romero (Bude) got her first start in goal this season and saved both shots she faced in the match.
Co-Lin improves to 2-1-0 overall and will return to action hosting Southwest for their home and MACCC opener on Tuesday, September 16. Kickoff between the Lady Wolves and the Lady Bears is set for 5:30 p.m., at Stone Stadium in Wesson
