Lady Wolves edge Itawamba 5-4

WESSON- The Co-Lin Lady Wolves picked up their second win of the season as they edged Itawamba 5-4 on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The Lady Wolves picked up a win at doubles and wins in four singles matches.

The No. 3 doubles team of Morgyn Brister and Britany Barnett defeated Itawamba's Brianna Ball and Belle Powell 8-5. In other doubles action, Itawamba's No. 1 doubles team Gaia Del Sordo/Martina Coghello defeated Co-Lin's Juliana Madrid/Valeria Rodriguez 8-4.  The Indians No. 2 team of Sidney Ostender/Madelyn Angle beat Co-Lin's Makiyah Adams/Keegan Thurman 8-1.

The Lady Wolves pulled out four wins in singles action. Co-Lin's No. 1 Juliana Madrid defeated Del Sordo 6-1.  At No. 4 singles, Morgyn Brister defeated ICC's Madelyn Angle. Co-Lin's Keegan Thurman outlasted Brianna Ball 6-2, 6-7,1-0 at No. 5 and Co-Lin's Britany Barnett took care of Aiden Nipp 6-1, 6-2.
